Yesterday I drafted my first pair of pants in years – High-waisted with two small pleats, and tapered legs. Pants that a few years ago I would look at with disgust.
I found a piece of black and white pinstripe wool that was just enough to cut the legs and waist band. Everything went together ridiculously well, except for the fact that I cut the waist band a we bit too small. It will come off on Saturday or Sunday and a new one will replace it.
They turned out really cute, with little belt loops, mock fly, and side-slit pockets (in teal satin) and I can’t wait to wear them!
Dan and I are hoping to do a mini-Ohhh Lulu photo shoot on Saturday, then I will be posting my first batch of Etsy stuff soon after. I have four days off next week, so hopefully I will be more productive than has been my current situation…
