Brand Spanking New

Uncategorized
So… I opened a pattern shop!
Over the last few months I’ve been working on 12 new patterns – 3 bras, 2 garter belts, 1 camisole, and 6 panties.  I have sewed soooooo many samples of the last several weeks.  I don’t even want to see another scrap of muslin again (for a week or two!).  My new shop, Ohhh Lulu Sewing Patterns & Supplies is now where you will find all of my patterns, and soon where you will be able to find some harder to find supplies, like elastics, garter straps, hook and eye tape, bra backs, small quantities of fabrics… and eventually kits! I still have quite a bit of work to do before I get supplies ready, but that is the plan!
Ohhh Lulu Sewing Patterns & Supplies

Over the next few days I hope to organize a give away (or two, or three) and I’m having a Grand Opening Sale! Use coupon code HappySewing2014 in my Pattern Shop and get 10% off your entire order.  Offer Expires on Monday, January 13, 2014.

The Anna Bralette – my personal favourite.

It all sounds fantastic! I hear a lot of the gubbins involved in making this stuff is hard to find all together as well. 😀

This is exciting! I've never attempted lingerie and have minimal experience with knits, but consider myself a competent seamstress and would love to expand my horizons. Which patterns would you recommend for a newbie?

Ooo brill, you must be so excited! I love the designs you've done and you couldn't have timed it better for me as I've been thinking about sewing bras for awhile so this is just what I need to get started!

Congrats! These look great darling. And it will be awesome to be able to buy lingerie supplies from you and get to enjoy those sweet Canada Post rates (American shipping kills me). Just FYI, the hardest thing for me to find is pretty elastics, bra clasps with 3 rows of clasps (locally I can only find 2), and metallic rings and sliders (Brass and silver are so much prettier than plastic).

Beautiful patterns! I've admired them for quite a while and have wanted to give them a go but it's really hard to find bra backs and the metal parts in my town – looking forward to you having the kits available in the future!

I'm loving your high waisted garter belt pattern and your high waisted panties! I've never sewn underwear before but I am a competent sewer. I'm looking forward to you bring out kits so I know just the kind of fabric I should be using!!! Excited for what 2014 will bring for your store 🙂

I just made the Anna bralette in silk jersey. It's perfect! The fit was great without any alterations. Hardest thing is just to decide what to make next. Beautiful patterns, thank you!
